AI Hardware for Real Workflows
This section covers hardware worth considering when capture is the real bottleneck. Use it when your workflow starts away from a clean desk and spoken or in-motion input keeps slowing down the handoff into software. If your source material already starts clean, you can usually skip hardware.

When hardware is worth it
Hardware is usually worth considering when you repeat the same capture-heavy workflow in the real world: meetings, walk-throughs, field notes, or spoken recaps where phone capture is inconsistent and details get lost before drafting begins.
When software is enough
If your inputs already start as clean digital text, documents, PDFs, spreadsheets, or structured meeting platform exports, software alone is usually the better path.
How to choose
Start with your bottleneck. If capture quality and consistency are the recurring problem, review hardware options. If your bottleneck is synthesis, drafting, or formatting, stay with software-first workflows.
